No one should have to choose between their health care and their heating bill in the richest country on Earth.
Medicare for All saves money and lives, and frees us all to pursue the American Dream. The for-profit system puts profits over patients, leading to bankruptcies and preventable deaths. We need a single-payer system that guarantees healthcare to every resident of the United States, free at the point of service.
The Sacks Agenda
- Pass the Medicare for All Act (H.R. 3069) to provide comprehensive health benefits including primary care, vision, dental, prescription drugs, mental health, and long-term care.
- Eliminate all premiums, co-pays, and deductibles. No more surprise bills.
- Allow the government to negotiate drug prices directly with pharmaceutical companies to slash costs.
- Stop the privatization of traditional Medicare (ACO REACH) and protect the public system.
- Expand funding for rural hospitals and community health centers to ensure access in underserved areas.
Lawler's Attacks on Care
- Voted for the 'Limit, Save, Grow Act' which proposed massive cuts to Medicaid, jeopardizing coverage for 238,000 people in his own district.See the Record
